Emilia Amaro is an undergraduate student at American University majoring in Psychology and Sociology. Her area of focus is making mental health care equitable and accessible as well as the benefits of cognitive behavioral therapy. She is currently a research assistant studying cross border healthcare research. Being a dual citizen in the United States and Mexico and having used both healthcare systems offers a unique perspective and interest in the current cross border research.

Katherine Nau Stinton earned her MS in Marketing from American University and received her BA in English with a minor in Art from Washington College. She has used her expertise in photography, graphic design, and writing to create content in the nonprofit and retail industries. She also has experience building comprehensive visual identities for businesses. Katherine is interested in the intersection of the arts and marketing as well as utilizing her skillset to promote positive societal change.
