Students
The Market Impact Hub offers a competitive student-lab assistant program. Lab members assist faculty in conducting cutting-edge research and serve as a part of the initiative to grow and evolve the lab by developing strategies to promote findings, share relevant stories, and expand future Hub capabilities.
Lab members are expected to commit ~10 hours per week to MIH research or practice-related projects and be active participants in regular lab meetings.

Research Assistants
Involvement in an MIH research project can provide opportunities for hands-on experiences that may include training in experimental, ethnographic, and observational research; behavioral studies; online survey development; IRB correspondence; content analyses; managing and analyzing data; contributing to manuscript preparation; and developing independent research projects.
If you are interested in learning more about research practicum or paid opportunities to get involved in the MIH research lab, email program manager Kelli Frias at kfrias@american.edu to schedule a meeting.
Marketing Assistants
Participation in the marketing program with MIH can provide students the opportunity to exercise their skills in a real-world, hands-on environment. Students may help source and develop content for the Hub's newsletter, manage and analyze results on social media accounts, or update and maintain the website.
If you are interested in learning more about social media practicum or paid opportunities to get involved in the marketing of the MIH lab, email program manager Michael Clayton at clayts@american.edu to schedule a meeting.
