Professor Ron Hill Honored with Lifetime Achievement Award by CBSIG

Distinguished Professor Ron Hill of the Kogod School of Business has been named the recipient of the 2025-26 Lifetime Achievement Award by the Consumer Behavior Special Interest Group of the American Marketing Association.
Professor Ronald Paul Hill, Ph.D., a longtime faculty member at the Kogod School of Business, has been awarded the prestigious 2025-26 Lifetime Achievement Award by the Consumer Behavior Special Interest Group (CBSIG) of the American Marketing Association. The award recognizes scholars with a significant body of work in advancing consumer research and service to the field.
With over 200 journal articles, books, and conference papers on topics including impoverished consumer behavior, marketing ethics, corporate social responsibility and public policy, Professor Hill’s contributions have left a broad imprint on the discipline. In accepting the honor, he reflected on the enduring value of research that bridges academic rigor with social impact, noting: “…our work becomes meaningful when it informs practice, policy and the lived realities of consumers.”
